Learning Activity Data

We track your progress through courses. This includes which lessons you've completed, quiz scores, coding exercises you've attempted, and time spent on different modules. It sounds like a lot, but this data helps us understand what's working and where students typically get stuck.

Technical Information

Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical data. Your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you navigate through our platform. This helps us fix bugs and improve performance across different devices.

How We Use Your Information

We're not in the business of selling data. Here's what we actually do with the information we collect:

Payment Processors

When you make a purchase, payment details go directly to our payment provider. We never see or store your full credit card number. The processor shares transaction confirmation with us, but that's it.

Hosting and Infrastructure

Our platform runs on cloud servers. These providers might have access to data stored on their systems, but they're bound by strict confidentiality agreements. They can't use your information for their own purposes.

Email Service

We use an email delivery service for course notifications and updates. They process email addresses and message content, but only to send the emails you've requested or that are necessary for course participation.

We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone. Period. If we ever need to share data in ways not covered here – say, for a partnership or new feature – we'll ask for your explicit consent first.

Your Rights and Control

Your data belongs to you. Here's what you can do with it:

Access Your Data

Request a copy of all personal information we have about you. We'll provide it in a readable format within 30 days. Most account information is already visible in your dashboard.

Correct Inaccurate Information

Update your profile details directly through your account settings. If something looks wrong and you can't fix it yourself, contact us and we'll sort it out.

Delete Your Account

You can request full account deletion anytime. We'll remove your personal information within 60 days. Some data might stick around longer if we're legally required to keep it – like payment records for tax purposes.

Restrict Processing

Ask us to limit how we use your data. For example, you might want us to stop sending marketing emails but continue providing course updates. We'll honor these requests where technically possible.

Data Portability

Get your learning data in a format you can transfer to another service. This includes your course progress, completed exercises, and certificates earned.

Data Security Measures

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no online system is completely bulletproof.

• Encryption in transit – all data moving between your browser and our servers uses HTTPS
• Encrypted storage – sensitive information is encrypted when stored in our databases
• Access controls – only team members who need access to perform their jobs can view user data

If we ever experience a data breach that affects your personal information, we'll notify you within 72 hours as required by Vietnamese law. The notification will explain what happened, what data was affected, and what steps we're taking.

We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. Some are essential for the platform to work – without them, you couldn't stay logged in between pages.

We also use analytics cookies to understand how people use the platform. These help us see which course sections are most popular, where users drop off, and what devices people are using. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though this might affect some features.

We don't use advertising cookies or allow third-party advertisers to track you on our platform.

International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in data centers outside Vietnam. When you use our platform, your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations. We ensure any international transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

Service providers we work with are required to maintain adequate data protection standards, regardless of where they're based. We use contractual agreements to ensure your data receives similar protection wherever it's processed.

Children's Privacy

Our platform is designed for learners aged 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from younger users. If you're under 16, please don't create an account or submit any personal information.

If we discover we've inadvertently collected data from someone under 16, we'll delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has provided information to us should contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email and display a notice on the platform for at least 30 days.

The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Vietnamese Law Compliance

As a business operating in Vietnam, we comply with Vietnamese regulations on data protection and privacy, including Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection and related circulars.

We maintain data processing records as required by Vietnamese authorities and cooperate with lawful requests from government agencies when necessary.
